What is self-publishing?

Self-publishing means you don’t go through a traditional publisher to make your book available to the public. It also means you decide how to price your work, where to distribute it, and in which format(s). You can use online platforms to publish

your book as an e-book, paperback, or hardcover. Readers can buy it directly, and the platform handles printing and shipping each order—so you don’t have to worry about stacks of unsold books at home.

You don’t have to do it alone.

Self-publishing doesn’t mean doing everything yourself; it means getting editorial support where needed but remaining in creative control over your story and its distribution.

You’re the creative visionary; I’m the book architect.

As your editor and publishing assistant, I help turn your draft into a published book—especially if you struggle with keeping track of deadlines, repetitive tasks, and administrative planning.

The processes required to self-publish isn’t quite desgined with neurodivergent authors in mind.

Self-publishing in inevitably a long-term project of low-dopamine tasks that requires a high degree of executive function, which can bring a sense of overwhelm and lead to burnout.
